Jason Abraham

I'm Jason, a California native with a lifelong passion for capturing life's precious moments through photography. From the early days of black and white film in Santa Monica High School's darkroom to entering my digital era in 2006, my photo journey has been a dynamic exploration of diverse shooting experiences.

I photographed my first wedding in 2012 in San Diego, and since then I have been in love with photographing couples on their special day celebrating their love. It is a truly beautiful moment when two people decide to share their lives together and the two sides come together as one. 

​

I still offer a variety of other types of photography outside of wedding and events because I love to help my local community and help preserve these wanted memories in time. I offer Portraits and Family Sessions, Maternity and Newborn Sessions, Special Events, Sports Photography, and Yoga Photography. 

 

In moments away from photography, I find inspiration in the captivating world of HDR Photography, capturing breathtaking landscapes across the globe. I'm also a passionate traveler, creator, acro yogi, and avid hiker.

After gaining over a decade of photography experience in Los Angeles, in 2020 my partner and I left due to the pandemic and since then we have made Santa Cruz our home. We got married in 2022 in Big Sur, and currently are expecting our first child in late June.

 

In 2023, I  passed my Part 107 exam, which allows me to offer Aerial Photo and Video work with my drone.

I love to share stories and laughs with others, I typically work a lone but I am a great team player and love to get creative and explorative with others.  It brings me great pleasure at the opportunity to get to meet you, work with you and deliver my best to you and yours.
